Lazy lilac Saturdays
And picnics in the park
Are happy little twits of thought
I’ll spark to see the dark
Sorrow isn’t down with this
Since joy has taken flight
And rarely do I feel compelled
To shine of any light
But light or dark, can work it out
Since sarky rhymes are fun
From haunting ghosts or shaming moons
To hopscotch drinks of sun
And unicorns I’ll flat destroy
Because they piss me off
Their silly dreams and rainbow scenes
I’ll ridicule and scoff
I’ll write about some little girl
One sea breeze afternoon
And as she's skipping through the park
I’ll pop her red balloon
And say to her, 'It's all your fault
Your mummy drinks so much'
Then break the legs of some young lad
To beat him with his crutch
I’ll push some funshine lemonade
Write scores to settle crime
Fill Santa’s sack with bags of crack
Then bust his ass in rhyme
For I can write to dim a light
And darkness - I can shine
My options I’ll prove limitless
Each time I twist a line
