An Implicit Aftermath

An Implicit Aftermath

Separating from life

And all its pointless rituals,

As lost to your touch; your warmth,

To weep along the edges

 Of an expectant dream

For an impressionable afterthought

Still in pursuit of us

And seeing myself

As a shameful
Aftermath
Alone

Hidden from view

Only from you

For Love remains as constant

Its faltering to forgot

Or yield to disillusion

And with each moment’s flow

Continuing to fall all around me

That ravenousness of my deep

Hungers not your exquisite kiss

But has considered your Musing thoughts

While fears flow freer yet

My understanding of why

You so longer talk to me

But speak with me

And the unadorned darkness

Suddenly grows uncomfortably silent

As my heart whispers the unthinkable...

'I wish you didn't Love me'
