Cosmic Carousel
My Bi Jou Jou has installed,
‘The Cosmic Carousel’
I wonder what he’ll make up next,
‘The Catacombs Hotel?’
He has Nirvana rocking out
On its calliope
And Kurt Cobain is singing how
He should get off of me
I watch Bi Jou Jou ride each horse
Before I catch his eye
He smiles and says; ‘How are yer Lass?’
Like he's some Irish guy
Then he says, Poll spin with me,
And offers me his hand
When I’m pulled up, my clothes become
Much different than on land
The Velvet Emerald dress I wear
Is trimmed with lucky gold
Bi Jou Jou says, ‘I tell ya gal,
Yer beauty I behold’
Then he says, ‘Dear Pollykins,
Please guess which horse I made
Fer me Irish Emerald pal,
With whom I'll never trade'
I walk around, although we spin,
On our new carousel
While looking for some clever hint
Bi Jou Jou would entail
That's when I see a purple horse
As I am walking by
Look at me; then quickly turn,
For fear I'd catch his eye
Hmm, I wonder... Could it be...
This purple one who stares?
Yes I do believe it is
For I can see he dares
He helps me up, and as we spin
We watch the day turn night
‘Thanks Bi Jou Jou, you're the best’
‘Aye’, he says, ‘yer right’
