Crimson Rain

Crimson Rain

I've watched her search our endless night
And weep from fallen eyes
Haunting moments time exchanged
For hollow, tired sighs

I feel she’s lost; a desperate soul
Unable to move on
Imprisoned by her suicide
When grace had been withdrawn

Sensing her through empathy
She knows if I'm upset
But when she tries to comfort me
We both feel sad regret

Was this woman gone like me
Before she took her life;
Or simply broke to misery
By acting the good wife?

Will I haunt my corridor
And cry the blood of dread?
Answers I search lost in me
While dying in my bed.
