Ether Advantage

A single word when at a glance
Seems just a step before the dance
Yet in my mind this cornerstone
Begins to spin, tho' not alone

It lights in colours charmed to think
So rhymes may skip love's missing link
And music notes of amethyst
Play petty beats I'd wished but missed

Chromatic swirls cry salted waves
For Emerald sands in treasured graves
Spring from their chests of cluttered dust
Creative bubbles glad to bust

When worlds begin to rock within
And paint across what's wearing thin
Soon groovy groves grow Purple trees
Where birds found mocking honey bees

Hum clouds of winter's fallen blue
If sung in tune with astral dew
Will turn my clock to 'running late'
So yesterday's tomorrow's fate

And sleepy moons then wake to play
With shadows boxing in the day
That question if my timid rain
Has stopped its fall to just complain

But once my fever-sickened skies
Drop desperate tears that I despise
My shifting thoughts from life's disease
Get caught up dreaming Ether's breeze
