Poet
A Poet is a tragedy
Assuming to relate
A mark wherein contingency
May lack assertive fate
A metaphoric paradox
Who truly does believe
Perception only contradicts
Reflections you deceive
From Musing analytically
Through their Poetic eyes
They’ll classify reality
As life just passing by
And instigate philosophy
By sparking a debate
Or stick to romance on their tongues
To taste how love should hate
If inclined they’ll spin a rhyme
That renders life surreal
Then humdrum on insipidly
Till moments beat to feel
And know when reaching 'out of touch'
As time that feels so 'write'
How they've become Poetically
A dream that's taken flight.
